The severe weather has hit the South of England and many families have lost almost everything during the floods. Some of them have lost everyhting, some of them have almost lost their houses and since last Christmas many families are in need of clothing ( especially warm clothing), toiletries and other basic personal needs. The western and southern areas have borne the brunt of the latest severe weather, with flooding leaving some villages in Somerset cut off, properties flooded in Cornwall, and residents forced from their homes in the centre of Salisbury, Wiltshire.
This is a small project formed by a group of friends who are willing to help those families as much as possible in the flooded areas, especially in Salisbury, Wiltshire. We will try to provide a bit of comfort, warmth, and help cleaning some of those inundated houses. Families with young children and the elderly will be given a special attention. We know we 'can't change the world' but if we can make the life of those families a bit better or easier, we will feel as if we have done our part to change it!
Thank you so much for your help, even if you can't help us, thank you for your time.
