Libraries are good things.
A wonderful new spot for the Feminist Library? Let's do this!
Feminist thought and literature is vital. It literally saved me. The library has my full support.
I researched a book there in 1982 - a life saver, thanks.
This is amazing! This library needs to be open for everyone!
It's great that you've found a new venue. Looking forward to the next chapter for an amazing organisation.
It is important that women help women and that we keep feminist spaces alive.
We all need The Feminist Library! Love and solidarity xxx
Looking forward to your new home!
For Saturday, Thanks Feminist Library!
So pleased to know you have a new home, as we do also: Hypatia Trust, Lower Ground Floor, The Regent, 54 Chapel Street, Penzance, Cornwall TR18 4AE. Your members and friends are welcome to visit us when in Cornwall/Land's End. We will link to you as appropriate whenever as we go forward. All good wishes, Melissa
I absolutely love the Feminist Library. I visited your current location last year and think it is such an important and powerful archive. As a feminist teacher in New York, I think your collection should be known to an entire younger generation of emerging feminists of all gender, racial, sexual, and ethnic identities both nationally in the UK and globally. Your collection is inspiring and I’m thrilled to support it. Keep fighting the good fight.
Hoping you get all the support you need for this fantastic resource.
My late mentor, Diana Leonard, was of the founding generation and I donate in memory and honor of her legacy in and outside of the academia.
I am so pleased that the Feminist Library has found a lovely new home and is receiving so much deserved support.
In memory of Astra Blaug
Good luck with the move!
Looking forward to visiting you in your new home!
WE CAN DO IT, NEARLY THERE! xxxx
The Feminist Library is an important space and brilliant resource that needs to be preserved. Happy to support you. Good luck reaching your target.
Courage mes braves!
Thank you to those who are doing stuff on a daily basis to make this happen. It is so important to have radical spaces where women can think together and make connections with other groups also on the sharp end of "austerity" and the current hostile environment.
Wishing The Feminist Library the best of luck! Such a fantastic place and much needed!
