Swell Theatre was founded by Ferelith Kingston and Sara Shuhaiber, who met studying Musical Theatre at the University of Portsmouth.

Swell Theatre thrives on collaboration, and working with musicians and performers to create a unique piece of theatre. They have recently graduated and have written an original musical, Double Date! The Musical, set to go to EdFringe in 2020, now postponed to 2021. For the virtual Fringe this year, they have written a short play, Rehearsal Etiquette, which was rehearsed and performed entirely online.

Rehearsal Etiquette captures the comedic realities that theatre makers across the country have faced when trying to continue rehearsing online. From actors arriving late to connections inevitably failing, watch as this rehearsal hilariously spirals into something from most director’s nightmares.

We would be so appreciative if you could donate to our small company, and help us along our journey to Fringe 2021!
