The extra donations will allow us to remain open and continue to source new exhibits, expand our displays and offer our visitors a fully immersive museum experience !

39 years ago two youngsters shared a mutual passion and embarked on a journey to celebrate the legacy of Phil Silvers.  Phil quite rightly holds a cherished place in the hearts of many Britons and the success of his museum is testament to the loyalty the UK has shown him over the last 63 years.

Located within FarGo Creative Village, Coventry’s niche creative quarter for independent businesses and artisans, the museum continues to attract visitors from all over the world since its much-heralded launch over four years ago.

Famous people who have supported the museum include Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Dick Van Dyke (Mary Poppins), BBC Director General Tony Hall, writer Phil Redmond, guitarist Captain Sensible (The Damned) and UK comedians and broadcasters Phill Jupitus, Tim Vine, John Archer, Danny Baker, Nick Hancock, Paul Bradley, Matt Allwright and Paul Merton.

Every single donation will help secure the future of the museum and we'll be able to continue welcoming Phil's big family of fans from all corners of the globe !

We fully understand we are living in tight financial times but rest assured every single penny will be channeled into keeping Phil's inspirational, one of a kind museum alive for future generations.

Saluting Phil
