Our Scout hut was built in the 1970s. It was built as a temporary building from pre-fab materials. at the time nobody envisioned Scouts would be so popular. every week our 3 Beaver colonies, 2 cubs packs and Sea Scout troop meet at our hut and take part in everyday adventures that builds skills for life. Our building is a vital part of the community and is in use both by the scouts and various other community groups every day of the week.

Unfortunately the building is starting to show its age with a badly damaged roof,  flooring that needs replacing and a whole building re-wire all on the list of things that need to be done to keep the building in use for another 40 years.

Over the last few years our volunteers and supporters have worked hard to raise money and have already managed to refurbish the kitchen space and provide a much needed accessible WC. We now need to focus on the building fabric repairs and need your help. Any donation small or large can make a massive difference to young people for years to come
