Against my better judgement, I have nominated myself to run 42km in April 2019 as part of the Virgin London Marathon.
In the process, I am raising £2000 for Scope UK, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of disabled people.
Everyday tasks, including working, grocery shopping, and even just getting out of bed can be a huge challenge for people with a disability. Scope is here to help provide all disabled people with access to the same opportunity to education, work, building a home and social life. Scope runs a variety of initiatives, ranging from weekend breaks for the disabled, education on what a disability is and support to friends and family of people with a disability.
Their work is crucial to over a quarter of a million disabled people and their families, and this is why I am determined to raise money to enable Scope to continue their meaningful work.
All money will be transferred to the JUST GIVING PAGE:
Any donation is much appreciated.
