/******* UPDATES ******/
25-12-2020 : We have received good news from part of Maura Paredes (Maria Izabel's grandmother) condition. She has been sent to class C which is where the least critical patients are attended. She is also able to breath a few minutes without external oxygen. This all thanks to the injections (paid with your donations) that she has been treated with.
Now Ana Luisa(Maria Izabel's mother) is still in bad conditions, she is having to depend on external oxygen and might need to be incubated. This news has affected us in so many ways but we have to stay strong. We are hoping her condition does not reach that point.
Again, thank you to everyone that has helped. We are eternally grateful and still can't believe the support we have received.
My name is Jonathan Smitter, I’m helping my partner Maria Izabel Paredes Florido raise funding to help her family who reside in Venezuela and have been diagosed with COVID-19.
Please support if you can by donating and/or sharing with your contacts.
This is her message:
Dear friends, my mother, Ana Florido and grandmother, Maura Paredes, need our help.
Over the past 2 weeks, both developed health symptoms which worsened daily and they have both now been diagnosed with neumonia due to COVID-19.
Although they have been receiving intensive treatment during the past days, their response hasn't been positive and their condition has worsened. At this moment, both my mother and grandmother who were struggling to breath have been hospitalised.
This decision represents an important economic expense due to the fact that the health system in Venezuela is unreachable for the majority of the population.
It is this reason why we ask for your help, whether big or small, so Ana Florido and Maura Paredes can recover soon.
Any donation is welcomed.
Thank you very much!
