I should be the happiest guy at the moment but sadly, i am not. I have received an offer for the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law , London starting in September this year. This is the final course to be a Solicitor. I am a brilliant and a hardworking student who privately funded my Law degree with family savings. Unfortunately we don't have the means at this point and I face an unlucky situation of being stuck at the time when it matters most. My dream is to be a Lawyer and I have worked so hard for this only to be blocked at this stage by financial difficulty.
As a passionate fundraiser who worked on behalf of various charities and for a wide range of causes over the last 2years, I believe everyone can make a difference in many ways; even a word of encouragement sometimes can be priceless.
Also working as an Advocacy Volunteer at Greenwich Migrant Hub has been an eye opener. Many face situations where guidance on the law on issues such as Housing, immigration and domestic violence can turn their lives around. It gives me much joy and satisfaction to know i can make a difference in my own small way and this is why taking this final course means everything to me.
To secure my place and be able to begin this course , the requirement is that i pay at least half of the fees (£ 7,842). It will break my heart to lose this opportunity having come this close.
