Los Gatos needs your help.
On March 18th we made the agonising decision, in consultation with our team, to close for their protection and for yours. We are a healthy business, employing 23 people, never been in debt, have always paid our suppliers in time and paid our taxes in full.
We intend to stand by our staff financially as well as protecting their health and jobs. We plan to re-open as soon as it is safe.
Like so many other small, independent businesses, we faced an unpredictable and potentially very grave future and we need your help. Our insurance, although it covers notifiable diseases, will not pay out for loss of business due to Coronavirus. The government have offered us loans, which we don’t want to risk taking on, and a small cash grant of £10,000. Our monthly payroll costs are normally £25,000 which we set as our initial target. UPDATE: We’ve since been offered up to 80% of wages for staff by government, and with confirmation of this, we’ve decided to reduce our target so we can top up wages. We’ve also extended our project running time.
All funds raised on this page will be used to support our wonderful staff financially.
We thank you all for your amazing support and look forward to seeing you when it’s safe to reopen.
