I am raising money to fund my visit to South Africa to help orphaned and vulnerable children, often affected by HIV/AIDS.

At the age of 14, I went to South Africa with my school to visit the charity 'Hands At Work' (https://www.handsatwork.org/). Something really touched me whilst I was there, and instead of it being a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' as all my family and friends were calling it, it felt like just the start of a long journey. When I arrived home, I continued to fundraise for the children I had met, and I was invited back to South Africa to dig a little deeper with the charity. After this visit, I was left feeling frustrated at how different my life is to the children who live over in the communities that I have visited. So, I have decided to do something about it. I am fundraising for my third visit to South Africa, to see the children and carers that I have grown a relationship with and have so much respect for.
