Hi. My name is Noel. I am a French cook living in London.
I started my business La Papapan on the 5th July 2015, with a lot of work and support from many of you.
Papan is my unique gluten free French base flaky pastry, filled with a tasty ganache. It was inspired by my dream of creating food that could take you on a journey around the World. Sweet or savoury I created flavours and experiences in an unique tastes.
Within 5 years, I gained confidence to promote my business and got opportunity to cook for big events such as GDIF, LONDON FASHION WEEK and MARK LONDON.
Recently, I approached SAATCHI and HAYWARDS GALLERY to support them during their evening events at the end of June but obviously this has been postponed due to the Coronavirus along with all my other work.
I always seek ways to promote my dream and keep business afloat but since the Government have implemented the Lockdown and Social Distancing measures, I have lost all my income which is putting me and my business in a very challenging situation.
This period is extremely difficult for me as I still need to find the money to pay for all the business costs and my day to day living.
I would not ask unless I was desperate. I am a proud and humble man but these unprecedented times have proved harder than expected.
