My brave niece Jemma is terminally ill with rare gastrointestinal tumours, which have metastasized into her liver.
She is on constantly on chemotherapy drugs, from which she has to have regular breaks, due to the toll it takes on her body.
The chemotherapy will not hold the tumours back forever, but Jemma doesn't want to focus on that, but wants to focus on trying to have quality time she has with her two young girls, Willow and kacie, and her husband Tony.
The NHS removed one of the drugs available to her and other GIST sufferers, and she tirelessly campaigned to get the drug successfully reinstated.
Jemma also donated her hair for the Little Princess Trust, for children that have lost their hair through chemotherapy, and raised money for the charity.
I wanted to do something that takes the presure off them, so jemma along with her husband and two beautiful girls Kacie 8, willow 7, can make memories by ticking two big memory makers off her bucket list:
Diving with Great White Sharks in the Neptune Islands off Port Lincoln Australia & The Magic of Disney World Florida.
Despite feeling poorly a lot of the time, Jemma is determined to do memorable things with her family that they will remember in the future.
This I hope will go a little way towards lifting their spirits through the tough times.
This is me helping in a practical way.
