Help Elect the NW of England's First Green MEP

You have helped so much, thank you.

Because of your generosity, we've got more leaflets into more homes, created and attended more Launch Events, more Hustings and more outreach than we imagined possible. Our volunteers and members are putting all they've got into this campaign and Green party North West Lead Candidate, Gina Dowding is tipped for success. Complacency though would be foolish and we urgently need to reach our target (so close!) in order to get the most out of this final week of campaigning.

It's at this point we want to reflect too, on why we do this and who we do it for: 

For all the Brexit talk in these important European Elections, it's worth a reminder of what our children need from us and the politicians we elect. Our votes matter for the safety of our air, water, agriculture, natural world and the lives our children will be leading. What Party has prioritised these things? What Party has set aside profit or jobs from the past, for the sake of the bigger, more urgent issue? What our children face in the future, is down to us. The world is too big to fail and our children too precious.

The more Green MEPs we send to Europe on 23rd May, the more powerful European Greens will be and the impact of good policies, felt sooner rather than 'too late'. For us in the North West of England, where industries involved in nuclear, fracking, waste, pollution, greenbelt development and other toxic work - can only be challenged with the might of the Europe-wide Greens beside us.
