MORE SHEFFIELD GREEN COUNCILLORS ON MAY 3RD!

Sheffield Green Councillors have been making a real difference across our city - help us elect more Councillors in the 3 May elections!

We did it!

On 4th May 2018 we successfully raised £510 with 20 supporters in 35 days

Sheffield’s Labour-run council are not listening to residents. They shut you out of decisions often made before consultations are held. The massive campaign against the felling of healthy street trees and the Central Library hotel fiasco have highlighted the failings of this council. Labour councillors are told how to vote, and are suspended if they rebel. Green councillors aren’t afraid to represent your interests and will stand up for you in the Council.

Labour currently have 56 councillors, Lib Dems 20, Greens 4 and UKIP 4. On May 3rd you have the opportunity to elect more Green councillors to provide credible alternatives and effective opposition and scrutiny. Greens who care about residents in wards they represent and never take your vote for granted. You can reduce the Labour majority to establish a direction of travel for Sheffield to be run with new energy and ideas in the very near future.

-Cllr Alison Teal is seeking re-election in Nether Edge & Sharrow ward

The Green Party are funded by members and supporters. We don’t have the backing of big business or trade unions. This means that we are free to put the needs of people and planet first. We don’t owe any favours to big organisations. It also means that we rely upon volunteers and the generosity of individual donors. So we hope that you can help

Donations to Sheffield Green Party to fund our campaigns until the election on May 3rd will pay for newsletters, leaflets, calling cards, posters and social media.

£10 will pay for 250 window posters

£25 will pay for an election leaflet to 1000 households

£50 will pay for a campaign newsletter to 2000 households

Wherever you are in Sheffield or elsewhere, please help if you can, and please ask others to chip in too. Every pound will help.

Thank you

Alison, Martin, Kaltum, Paul, Bernard
