The Cambridge Green Party wants to elect a wave of new Green councillors to Cambridge City Council this May.
We already have one councillor in Market and over the last year we've done a huge amount in the City, from helping make the council divest from fossil fuels to pressuring local government to do more to welcome refugees.
This year we want to form a Green group on the City Council to ensure there is a strong, progressive voice pushing for the change Cambridge needs.
In the city we will work to create a Greener and better City Deal for the region, to end fuel poverty and to fight for more affordable housing.
We will take action locally on international isses, from tax avoidance to climate change.
We have a number of great candidates with strong records of campaigning in their local areas who are raring to go. From Stuart in Market, a nurse and union representative, to Sharon in Petersfield, a community and charity campaigner, to Angela in King's Hedges, an activist who has taken action to stop the international arms trade.
But we rely almost entirely on donations and financial support from our members and supporters to be able to campaign effecively. We do not recieve any support from big business like the Westminster parties.
Any amount you can give will be a huge boost to our chances of winning in Cambridge AGAIN this May.
