We did it
On 15th December 2019 we successfully raised £1,090 with 34 supporters in 28 days

We are raising money for the campaign to elect Alana Bates as a Labour MP in the St Ives constituency in Cornwall.

I am the campaign coordinator for Alana's campaign.

Alana says, "I don't want to live in a country where working people have to use food banks and sleeping rough is seen as a fact of life, while the number of millionaires is growing. I want to see a country where the wealth that is created here is shared equally."

"As part of the Green New Deal, Labour will invest in a programme of nationally funded, locally owned renewable energy, insulating homes, investing in cheaper public transport, planting millions of trees and creating 850,000 green jobs."

"But we need some money to fight this election here in St Ives. We don't have big business backers; we are a party of ordinary working people. If you would like to be a part of our people-powered campaign, please donate whatever you can afford so we can rebuild this area for the many, not the few."

We will spend the money we raise on designing, writing, printing and distributing leaflets to houses throughout the constituency.

We will also buy a megaphone so Alana's voice can be heard.
