Help elect a Green MP for Morecambe & Lunesdale

We are aiming to give constituents in Morecambe & Lunesdale the chance to vote for a different, better kind of politics - The Green Party

We did it!

On 6th Mar 2015 we successfully raised £1,016 of £1,000 target with 38 supporters in 35 days

New stretch target

Wow - thanks so much for getting us to our intial target!

Let's see if we can raise more and give the best chance of getting Phil elected!

The more donations we generate, the better we can spread our message.  We will be able to produce more leaflets, window posters for supporters to display, badges, stickers, t-shirts and hi-vis vests, road-side boards, and other publicity to give Phil the best chance of getting elected.  Please join us and help make the change you'd like to see - thank you!

It's just four months until the general election and there's a greensurge around the country - membership of the Green Party is up over 120% in one year and we are polling higher than ever!

In Morecambe & Lunesdale, the Green Party is the most popular choice in the Vote For Policies website polls and we would like make sure that everyone in the constituency hears our message.

Why we need your help

Unlike other political parties, the Green Party do not rely on contributions from large corporations - money in politics is the root of so many problems, from MPs with vested interests in private healthcare to governments in the pocket of fossil fuel conglomerates.

We prefer to be accountable to our membership and supporters, standing true to our principles and policies - this means we are free to truly represent the needs of ordinary people. Everything that ordinary people have gained - the right to vote, the right for employment protection, the right to welfare, the NHS - has been gained through collective effort and organisation.  It's about pooling our resources to create something bigger than each of us alone.

To ensure more voters hear about the Green Party message of the need for real change, to build a society that works for the common good, within the environmental limits of one planet, we need your help.

What we need is for you to make any contribution you can - if you can afford a pound that's great, if you can afford more, that's great too!  Please give whatever you can to give our local community a real choice in their future direction, and help us spread the word to encourage others.

What will we do with the money raised?

We want to give voters the opportunity for a fairer, more properous, more democratic Morecambe & Lunesdale, with your help we will be able to raise enough money to produce materials to campaign, to deliver a leaflet from Phil to every voter in the constituency, as well as pay for the £500 deposit required for Phil to stand as our Green Party parliamentary candidate.

If you are not able to contribute financially, you can still help in the following ways:
