In light of the upcoming demolition of the camp one of the most important things we can do for the refugees is provide them with good winter boots! Many refugees have only sandals or poorly fitting trainers and have no idea what a winter in this part of the world will be like. A member of our team visited the camp last weekend and was involved in distributing shoes with one of the charities. There were nowhere near enough shoes and too many were left disappointed.... we need to act now before they are made homeless and forced to move on.
Can you help? Our first load of boots will be leaving this Friday.
