Established in 1981 during the race riots in London, Brixton BMX is the UK capital's oldest BMX club. Over the last 40 years it's helped many children get off the streets and onto the track in a safe and nurturing environment.
A number of world class riders have started their careers at Brixton including Charlie Reynolds, CK Flash, Quillan Isidore, as well as Tre and Kye Whyte, Britain’s current Olympic silver medallist.
The club's track is now in disrepair and needs our help to rebuild the facility in Brockwell Park and make it ready for the next generation of young riders.
To help raise funds I'll be riding 40 laps of the track and trying for a target of £1000.
Please give what you can and your generosity will help more children from all backgrounds discover BMX.
