I am a final year medical biochemistry student, hoping to achieve my ambition of reading veterinary medicine at university. As I have already recieved my alotted funding from student finance england for my first degree, I am currently looking for other sources to pay the ever increasing tuition fees for the five year degree as a mature student.
Animals have always been a part of my life as I was brought up on a dairy farm and worked alongside my family in the daily care of these animals. We have various species of animals from the standard pets such as dogs and cats to many exotic species of poultry. I want to be able to use my passion to assist those that require specilaist care and treatment.
I am now delighted to say that I have been offered a place to study at the University of Liverpool with an offer of a 2:1, however I am currently predicted to get a first class honours degree.
Any donations would help me to achieve my dream and hopefully continue to work with animals as a lifelong career.
This is a picture of me at work experience with Nuffield scholar Mike Miller on his sheep farm in Dorset, taking blood samples of his ewes.

I am to start my veterinary degree in the September of 2017 and am hopeful that with your help this is achieveable.
Thank you for reading.
Kind regards Lily
