Half Marathon for Fair Play for Women

I'm running a half marathon to raise money to support Fair Play for Women's Hands Off My Rights campaign.

by Charlotte Edwards in Hounslow, Greater London, England

We did it
On 4th November 2018 we successfully raised £1,820 with 101 supporters in 56 days

New stretch target

All money raised will go to Fair Play for Women.

The Government is threatening a legal change that will rob women and girls of their rights. And no MPs are stopping them.

But female rights - like the right to single-sex services - exist to ensure privacy, dignity, fairness and safety for women and girls.

They're our rights. We need them. It is not up to politicians to give them away.

That's why Fair Play for Women (www.fairplayforwomen.com) are running the Hands Off My Rights campaign, to let as many people as possible know that they can have their say on this important issue by responding to the Government's consultation, and that's why I'm running 20K in early November to raise funds for the campaign.

I'd be very grateful if you'd sponsor me, and even more grateful if you'd have a look at the consultation guidance on www.fairplayforwomen.com and have your say.

Thank you.
