Haiti Earthquake Relief

Still recovering from the effects of an earthquake in 2010, Haiti is reeling from a 7.2 magnitude earthquake which hit the country on 14 August

You can donate to or fundraise for various charities supporting relief efforts in Haiti via the buttons below:

British Red Cross

Your donation can help our partners at the Haiti Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) already on the ground in Haiti deliver much needed assistance.

UNICEF

Our staff on the ground are already delivering much needed emergency supplies and medical kits, with additional supplies on the way. Your donation is vital to help us continue to reach vulnerable families.

All We Can

The Methodist Church in Britain and All We Can have launched a joint appeal. We are delivering life-saving supplies and equipment to those who need it through our network of partners already on the ground.

At the time of writing more than 1,500 people are estimated to have died with a further 5,700 badly injured. The hospitals and healthcare centres are already overwhelmed, and the situation is likely to worsen.

Help Haiti recover

Your help is needed

Blighted by poor infrastructure, and already struggling to cope after the pandemic and the assassination of their President, the people of Haiti are desperate for help and support. There is also a tropical storm which will exacerbate the crisis, potentially leading to landslides and flooding, destroying more buildings and further affecting communities.

Several UK charities are already on the ground supporting local communities. Your donation will help provide food, water, medical supplies, shelter and specially trained search and rescue operations.

Please give whatever you can to help the people of Haiti in the wake of this catastrophic natural disaster.
