Hair snip!

Project by Emma Lou
Hair snip!

To raise £1000 for "la leche league vale of Glamorgan" by cutting off 20 inches of my hair for "The little princess trust"

We did it!

On 30th Apr 2017 we successfully raised £278 with 29 supporters in 42 days

By donating to my fundraiser today you will be supporting TWO charity's!

Firstly the hair snipped off, over 20 inches!
This will be donated to The Little Princess Trust-

They provide real hair wigs free of charge to boys & girls across the UK that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment & other illnesses.

Secondly, The funds raised go to:
La leche league vale of Glamorgan-

Breastfeeding can sometimes be seamless, but often it's a massive, heartbreaking challenge, la leche league does incredible work both at home and around the world to help overcome these problems and improve the lives of thousands of mums and families.

LLLGB groups run on good will, support and local fundraising.
Fundraising is the crucial element in maintaining the group for the future with no funding.
Fundraising would pay for weekly venue hire to hold support meetings, weekly refreshments for all of the vulnerable mothers; free information leaflets, which can be taken away & kept for free; books owned by the group which can be borrowed free; additional training for the group Leaders so that they can bring up to date research back to the group; petrol and childcare costs so that Leaders can offer free one to one home visits to struggling local mothers and parents.
A recent report found that over 800,000 children could be prevented from dying worldwide if more women breastfed. It also revealed that fewer than 1% of babies were breastfed up to their first birthday in the UK.
By supporting this cause today you are helping the mother to provide that child with a life long gift.

Thank you for helping to give boobs a chance!
