After having a baby with my wife in February we were set to have a few weeks off from our dog grooming salon which we had lovingly built over 3 years. It was then however just as we were set to return that Covid struck, we were left to close.
In combination with a short closure due to our babies birth and covid hitting we eventually had to call it a day because no funds equalled not being able to pay the bills. It broke our hearts and still does but we will be back....one day. We are absolutely devastated as we used to help so many people who couldn't access services for the wellbeing of their dogs, cats and rabbits.
So left with no jobs we decided to do something about it, start our own clothes and gift printing business, offering discounts to other businesses that need promotional items to help out in these dark days. This was the idea of something new. And having an autistic daughter who loves drawing it was also a great way to get her involved in something engaging.
I have a wealth of know how from previous jobs in my younger days. The name, Grumpy Sausage Designs came from our sons birth. He needed resuscitation when he was born and spent some time in SCBU on a breathing machine, he looked like a grumpy little sausage, so the name was born. He is fine now by the way thanks to the amazing staff at Ysbwty Glan Clwyd.
So having just launched with funds from selling our personal possessions, were running extremely basic and in desperate need of funds to purchase some printing machinery to get running properly, its a big ask but if you don't ask you dont get in life. The printing machinery will enable us to make our clothing and merchandise professionally and adapt it instantaneously to the ever changing climate. It would enable us to build up work and become self sufficient again and place us in a place to help others again.
So I ask, I ask very nicely, if you can please help and make this a reality, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and if you can't, I still thank you for reading this.
And please please stay safe, look after yourself and try your best to remain positive throughout these dark times.
