To build my business as a music creator and grow as a person.

by Steve Allen in Wallsend, England, United Kingdom

I'm Steve.

I'm a 30 year old father of two, who's life has been a musical one for as long as i can remember.

I've played guitar since i was a young boy, and have since grown and learned to find myself about to complete a music degree, and find myself on the very edge of pushing myself into a fully fledged career in music.

My main aim is to move my current home studio, into a spare outbuilding i have,  which i'm going to redesign and rebuild to be purpose made for all aspects of music creation. This build is something i've planned to do for a long time, and i have been able to include the build as part of my degree.

This is the basic plan.

The money i'm asking for here however, is for something altogether different!

This is La Fabrique, a recording studio situated in the south of France. It is however, no ordinary studio.

This studio works with an educational group known as Mix With The Masters, who invite the worlds greatest producers, mixing engineers and music creators into the studio to give week long seminars to a select handful of people.

LUCKILY upon applying, i was offered a place at one of the weeks later this year.

Unfortunately, the pricetag of nearly £4,000 is simply unattainable to me as a single parent and a musician, and a student.

If you'd make a donation to my fund, I'd be able to spend a week under the study of one of the greatest in his field.

This is one of the greatest oppurtunities of my life, and i know that i will benefit personally with a great deal of growth, learning, inspiration, connections and friendships, and above all else; experience.

Please give what you can! :)

Thank you!
