So many of us struggle to breastfeed our babies because the support we need isn't always available. We set up La Leche League West Cornwall in May so our trained breastfeeding counsellors (known as LLL Leaders) could help families across the area. We offer breastfeeding support in person, by telephone and online under the national charity La Leche League Great Britain. We also have monthly meetups near Truro.
To help more families we need to train more Leaders and fund current Leaders' ongoing development so we can be sure we're offering the best breastfeeding help we can. Anything you give will make a huge difference to a breastfeeding family both in West Cornwall and nationally, perhaps at a point when they're feeling quite desperate.
