Islington Clean Air Parents is in collaboration with Islington Council bringing 200 trees to the borough. The Clean air campaigning group is aiming to raise £15k to cover all costs of getting all the trees transported, planted and taken care of.
In addition to raising money, ICAP is working with the Council to create a more interactive approach to tree planting and ongoing tree stewardship in the borough. Getting schools involved is key to this as we need our young people to engage more with nature and establish lasting relationships with our natural world. This mini-fundraiser is for Grafton Primary to adopt at least one of these Forest for Change tree and get it planted within, or in close proximity to Grafton Primary school.
