The Bewdley School is hosting an International student-led conference November 3-9th, which will bring students from Uganda, Palestine, Jordan, India, Egypt, Morocco and across the UK together to discuss the theme of Global Happiness and the Health & Wellbeing of young people.
During the event, students will be attending music, art, sports, dance and therapeutic art courses. Teachers will be developing Global teaching skills.
Disadvantaged students from Palestine and Jordan are looking for help with their flights, food and accommodation during the week-long conference. Sponsors will be invited to the finale concert and advertising on merchandises during the event.
Students are working hard to raise money for the visiting students, but they need a little help.
Imagine what it would feel like to help us achieve our goals to provide all the students involved in the conference with the opportunity to share their ideas, culture and values whilst studying the United Nations Sustainable Goals for health & Wellbeing and Quality Education. It would be a great achievement to have provided help and support to a disadvantaged student and to see them performing at the Global Happiness concert. For these students, it could be a life-changing experience!
