As we know the long lasting pandemic has caused alot of uncertainty and instability to businesses worldwide.
Small business and corner shop - off licenses (7-11's) (You Know; the shops that are so importants and convenient for us when we're in dire need of something), have had the most torrid time. The money offered by the government to shop owners is a nice gesture however so significantly below the necessary amount required. Even a decade before the Pandemic we see that larger supermarkets have monopolised more and more over time by creating "Locals" which have directly impacted the little guys.
From this we see more and more of our local off licenses closing down leaving a void in our committees, people we know, help and love. Having that personal touch. Giving credit when times are a little hard.
I have worked for my parents convenience store business which has been running for about 25 years. From my experience I have developed relationships abroad with people working in export.
I'm planning with your help in donations to develop a business importing goods (Soft drinks, etc) at more competitive pricing where the lower costs will be inherited by the small off licenses, creating a sustainable business which will help facilitate the off licenses existence.
I have all the processes in place (Suppliers, Transportation, Import & Excise, Storage, Delivery, Sole Trader accounts) waiting however for funds to make this all happen.
I hope you can help make this happen the difference to keep peoples livelihood protected.
I am asking for £32,000 to start this venture off at its bare minimum.
My plan was to return back the initial investment + 50% ROI/bonus for your help, within the end of year 1 of trading, however I dont know how Crowdfunder organises this
