On the 13th of October the Green Army are getting together to run a one off 10K!
This is to celebrate the success of the 10K a Day in May challenge raising of £25,000 this year to help fund patient care at Wakefield Hospice.
The 13th of October would have been my Mums 64th birthday.
I thought it would be a nice touch to help put a smile on the patients face and pull together some gift bags containing treats (toiletries, sweet treats and any other nice little touches)
This is a little treat from myself and my Mum (she would have loved this gesture!)
I will be predominately funding this idea myself, but if anyone would like to contribute, even if it’s just the price of a coffee it means that some little extras can be added to the gift bags.
The Hospice can accommodate up to 16 patients at any one time so I want to ensure that we have enough to provide at least 16 gift bags.
