GFMA Black History Month Project

Live African Music, African Food, free Black History Month children's workshops, a play 'African Women' and an African Fashion Show.

We did it!

On 23rd Jul 2016 we successfully raised £900 with 19 supporters in 56 days

Global Fusion Music & Arts is an award winning arts charity (outstanding contribution to Arts and Entertainment 2016), based in Greenwich, South East London. The GFMA Black History Month Project will start with an event on Saturday 1st October to celebrate 50 years of Botswana Independence then there will be a play 'African Women' by Ugandan playwright Milly Namukasa on Sunday 9th October to celelebrate Ugandan Independence Day in Greenwich Theatre. There will then be an event in the Link in Thamesmead - Nigerian  Night Satuday 15th October  DJ,  live Nigerian Bands and food.   GFMA  will rund off the month with a Fashion Show on Friday 28th October and GFMA will provide free workshops for children around the themes of Black History Month on Saturday 29th October in Charlton House, Charlton, SE7 8RE.
