Hello Crowdfunders!
Thank you SO much for your donation so far, we’re practically jumping with excitement to take this show to Edinburgh and it wouldn’t be possible without you!
So far, we’ve been in rehearsals, powering through making the changes we need to take the show to the Fringe.
It HAS to be one hour, and no more – otherwise we’d get in a lot of trouble! This means that Sarah has to shut up more often, and Rachael and Jess need to… well. They just need to keep doing what they’re doing – they’re brilliant!
Since we’ve set up the crowdfunder, we’ve done three shows in Hull which have been ace – we were 19 tickets away from selling out the run. (!!!!!) We’ve had such lovely feedback from our audiences, including YOU GUYS!
We’ve just come back from Stockton, where we spent the weekend at ARC Arts Centre. We were working with an artist called Daniel Bye, who was helping us to trim our show down, streamline it and work on the areas that needed a bit of a more watchful eye. Dan has won a Fringe First in the past, so we were only too happy for the feedback. We’re just about to go back into rehearsals again, and have two more residencies in Sheffield Theatres & Doncaster CAST.
Thank you so much once again for your donation, with your help, we’re going to tackle the biggest moment of our career as a company to date, and we’re taking you with us! (Metaphorically, not physically. There’s not enough room in the van.)
