I loved the film God's Own Country, and so it was Francis Lee's short films that brought me here. Gay farmers, just like any other farmer, deserve to make a living and be happy!

As a 17 year old in 1978 and living in London, I was going through an overwhelming feeling of personal isolation and turmoil regarding my sexual orientation. If it wasn't for chatting to a compassionate and non-judgemental voice on the end of a dedicated telephone helpline there is no knowing how my life may have turned out. It gave me a belief, a feeling of acceptance and belonging and in turn a positive mental well-being.

A great worthwhile cause, for many it's still a hard subject for some to discuss with people close. I just hope it continues to help and support others. Keep up the good work.
