Gateway North East
We are a charity supporting children with varying degrees of disability in the North East of England. A lot of children accessing our playschemes and activities have very complex needs and need 1:1 support with everything they do.
A couple of weeks ago our charity had a massive blow.. We have been informed that we have to leave the premises we are based in, due to the Landlord selling the property. We have been given the 31st December has the final date to vacate. We are still planning to provide the playschemes that the children love so much, over the Christmas holidays and we are still planning to go ahead with our annual delivery of Christmas gifts to ALL the childrens wards in hospitals throughout the North East.
Gateway N.E desperately now need to raise funds to finance the purchase of a property so we can continue supporting the children and their families with the desperately needed respite care, activities and support we provide. Without premises our charity will struggle to continue.
