My name is Dominic and I am from Redcar, Teesside in the North East of England.
I graduated from Teesside University last year with a First Class Honours Degree in Law. I loved my course and I got so much out of it, however, I wished I moved away from home. I was struggling with anxiety and depression during my degree so had to stay close to home.
Upon graduation, I applied to LSE to study my masters, it is one of the best law schools in the world so I convinced myself I would not get in. However, I did and I cannot turn down this opportunity to finally move away from Teesside and live in London.
I can get a £12K loan off the government (adding to my £50K debt from undergrad study) to help with costs. The issue is that the tuition fees are £18K so I have a £6K shortfall in funding. I will have to fund this myself as well as afford to live in London. I am continuingly applying for bursaries but the competition is fierce and I not very optimistic that I will get anything. I am just asking for the difference in funding so that I can secure my place for September. Any donation would be much appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story,
