I am an acoustic singer/songwriter from York, with an ongoing love affair with my Guild F30 guitar. Lifelines is my latest album released January 2019, showcasing eleven original songs and five covers. The tracks range from the personal to the political, each evoking a person, a feeling, a time or a place - have a listen on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/1zUqWBp3z4ZCspS06Cagrx?si=qsZt2CnXSDOoTGSAxLoHIg
My music is constantly evolving and I aim to create a signature sound, incorporating new guitar and vocal techniques as I discover them. Years ago I busked my way around the bars of Paris, Amsterdam, Bruges and Ostend. Later I played in folk clubs around the UK, until I took time off to raise a family.
Four years ago a major health issue caused me to reassess my life. Music has always been the bedrock of my life so I decided to rekindle my musical career with my first album. I enjoyed this process so much I immediately started work on a second - Full Moon. I can't wait to get back into the studio!
If you donate to this project, I would use the money to record, engineer and package my album.
Thanks for reading this. There doesn't seem to be a place to tell you what you get in return, but of course you get my most sincere and grateful thanks, plus copies of the CD and invites to the launch and upcoming gigs.
