Friends of Y Bwthyn Fundraiser Raffle

I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible for Friends of Y Bwythyn & the Y Bwthyn Hospice in Rhondda Cynon Taff

by Robert Williams in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Mid Glamorgan, Wales

We did it
On 10th January 2018 we successfully raised £685 with 49 supporters in 35 days

Earlier this year, my father tragically lost his brave fight against cancer. The Friends of Y Bwthyn charity and the Y Bwthyn hospice in Rhondda Cynon Taff offered fantastic comfort and support to our family during some of the toughest days towards the end of my father's life. This campaign aims to raise as much money as possible to contribute to this fantastic charity, to contribute to their ongoing work and support of other families who have to deal with this horrible disease.

Friends of Y Bwthyn is registered charity run by unpaid volunteers. From donations they receive, they assist by providing comforts for both In and Day patients at the hospital and also Palliative patients in the local community via the Macmillan Nurses. For example they supply,on loan, electric reclining arm chairs to Palliative patients in their home, again via Macmillan nurses.

In order to raise money for the charity, I am raffling a Barcelona football shirt, signed by global football superstar NEYMAR, who I met a year or two ago, having won a competition in a magazine. The cost of the raffle is £2 per entry, or 6 entries per £10 donated. Larger donations are of course encouraged, but all contributions, great or small, will make a huge difference. When you donate on here, please put your full name in the comments section, so that I know which name to put in the prize draw. If you're happy to put your email address or telephone number on the comments section too, that's great, although you can email your details to me, so that I can contact you if you win -

The draw for the raffle will take place on January 10th 2018 & I will let the winners know that they have won on that day.
