Me and 3 other gay actors are putting on a LGBT play in the Royal Court. We aim to raise money to make it a beautiful as possible. It is written by Jake Brunger and I first produced it 2 years ago, self funded and made nothing. In this day and age with terrible homophobia (500% increase in Liverpool alone) I am flying the gay flag and making a play that shows gay men in a great normal light. And Isn't it just nice to do anyway?
Hire fees, rent, set and flyers are expensive, actors are all doing it for nothing (profit shares generally accumulate pennies) to produce art for the public. I am trying to raise a few pennies for the set, travel, the importance of gay expression and expenses.
If you donate that is wonderful, if you don't you are still wonderful. If you think this is a beggy post, you may be right. But lets all be nice. One life. One love.
Love Eddie Poverty fortune and all the cast of Fourplay. x
