The Ubora* Foundation** is a UK-based charity set up in May 2015 by Florence Ayissi (lawyer in London) and Aurelie Chazai (lawyer in Paris).
The mission of the Ubora Foundation is to work closely with local organisations to launch and support projects which provide necessary support to young talented Africans across the continent whose potential remains untapped due to a lack of access to quality education and proper infrastructure. The foundation seeks to achieve this goal by:
- providing scholarships to high potential pupils and students;
- developing sustainable initiatives that grant better access to higher education; and
- creating mentoring and entrepreneurship programmes.
Since launching the foundation, we have raised “love money” by participating in running challenges across London and Paris. For our next challenge, we have put together a team of 17 amazing people to raise both funds and the profile of the foundation by running a 20K in Paris on Sunday 11 October. More details on the challenge are available via this link.
We do hope you will support the mission of the foundation by sponsoring this challenge. Any donation, no matter the amount will help this important cause and would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks for your support!
