Food truck of the future

My husband and I want to start a food truck business which sells luxury burgers. Restaurant quality on the go, all home-made.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

About us:

My husband has been a chef for over 10 years. He has worked in different types of restaurants from chains to independent, but wants to start out of his own.  He puts passion into everything he cooks and always give 100% on his food. 

I myself started out in restaurants as a waitress and then moved on to become a web developer. So watch out for our food van website once we are up and running. As in most marriages I will be the organiser when it comes to events etc. 

We have been talking about starting up a food truck business for around 5 years now. We are both very passionate about food and believe in getting good quality meals, fast and for a reasonable price. 


Short-term: We want to start a luxury burger van with home-made burgers. We plan to start out in nottingham city centre and also around the country at events and festivals. 

Long-term: eventually we would like to expand our business with a few more vans. Our main focus is quality so this is what we will be focusing on first. 


We have gone through a few ideas for the menu from a pulled pork burger to a cheesy explosion. I will just have to say my husbands home-made BBQ sauce is to die for. Anyone who thinks they can make better, we accept your challenge. 

we would like to make different types of topings for the fries too. 

What we need: We are looking to get a van with all of the equipment in. If you can help us to get this up and running we will reward you will free food. Who doesn't like free food.  Hampers of our home-made sauces which you can either consume yourself or gift as presents and prend you made them.  Also available will be vouchers.
