Unfortunately this project was not successful.

We aim to get more ladies in the sea, surfing. Progressing as surfers and individuals, in and out of the water.

Our ladies surf sessions are based on Saunton Beach, North Devon, in association with Surf Saunton Surf School.

We aim to get more women in the sea, empowering us through the many benefits surfing offers. Many women want to start surfing but would prefer to do it with a group of like-minded women. We feel proud when we can walk to the beach, suited up, surfboards under our arms, as a group of strong women.

Our sessions are open to all abilities- complete beginners and those who want to take their surfing to the next level with high-performance surf coaching.

We want to help each other to get over the fear of big waves, rips, hold downs etc... To learn new techniques and impressive maneuvers, all the way to competition level through regular surf sessions; enabling us to reach our surfing goals and gain self-confidence.

We have found that we are far more motivated to put our wetsuits on and carry our surfboards to the sea with other women, encouraging each other to push our limits and jump out of our comfort zones. It's fun, educational, exciting and great exercise!

We are raising  £200 to fund our club affiliation to Surfing England, the National Governing Body, recognised by Sport England. Thank you Surfing England for all that you do!
