My aim to to put together luxury Scottish hampers for all occasions, from hand made, artisan products, sourced from other small business’s

A little about me

I have been passionate about creating hampers from products made by small Scottish business since I was roughly 15.  I briefly worked for a hamper company in my teens and that’s what sparked my love. I love Everything from finding the suppliers to chatting with customers (even the  admin!)

Even though I have dreamed of starting my own hamper business for many years, I never had the confidence, however when I was pregnant with my children I became very ill and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and post natal depression, this was maybe the hardest couple of years of my life.  2 years on and my health is starting to improve and getting through those tough years, whist adjusting to be a mother to two beautiful children I now feel like I can do anything I put my mind to!

My dream

My dream is to own a hamper Scottish hamper company that creates luxury hampers for all occasions.  I will only buy my stock from other small Scottish business and ship them all over the world. My goal is to make finding the perfect gift for every occasion easy and to deliver the finest handmade, luxury products to my customers.  In doing this I will not only be making my dream come true I will also be supporting the dreams of my suppliers.

The products within the hampers will range from alcohol and food products to hand knitted hats, bath salts and everything in between.

I also want to launch my own range of Scottish oatcakes and biscuits flavoured with natural Scottish ingredients.  I want to cater for every dietary requirement such as vegan, gluten free and diabetic.

How I will use the money raised

The money will mean I can buy in stock for the hampers and pay for proper advertising and get my business noticed.  It will also allow me get my own range tested out and eventually produced, once I am at this stage I hope to be able to create jobs in my local community, for families like mine, who struggle due to there not being many steady jobs available.
