First Chance Kindergarten School in Moshi in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania is an inspirational place, run by an inspirational woman. Mama Lucy Renju has pledged her life to improve the lives of children in Moshi. Mama Lucy believes that money should be no barrier to education—the fees to send the children to school are modest, equating to £9 per month and cover the teacher's salaries, electricity and 2 meals per day. Some parents are unable to cover the fees, but Mama Lucy and her staff contribute to allow them to attend school.
Currently, there are 3 students whose parents are unable to cover the fees.
Raising just £324 would cover the fees for Joyce, Naima and Stella; easing Mama Lucy's financial struggles slightly.
