The reversion to tribalism inherent in the Brexit movement doesn't just damage Britain, it is a step backwards for world peace, harmony and the understanding of the need to compromise if we wish to survivea as an evolving species.

The party divisions no longer match our needs. We need to support people who are prepared to make clear analysis and do what's needed without being bound by outdated party mantras

We need to bring back intelligent, informed and reasoned debate into our politics and, in so doing, create a more tolerant and humane society for everyone.

We really need a new way. I love that you’ve started the ball rolling. Climate change and social inequity is upsetting me hugely and the current powers are feathering their nests.

Centreground politics with liberal values are increasingly important to combat the rise of extremist populist politicians in the UK and around the world.

Simon Burgess 9th November 2019

This is an awesome movement and I’m glad to support it. We need more cross party collaboration not not a steady retreat into the extremes of the left and right.

The country is in a mess. BREXIT should not be allowed to happen; it was NOT the will of the people. We are not given sufficient information and some of what we were told was a lie (eg the NHS bus). We need a leader who is honest and has the well being of the people as a priority. We are in danger of losing our NHS as we know it. We need a party which genuinely cares about climate change. i fear the worst.

As a lifelong labour voter I now find myself with absolutely no enthusiasm for any party. I hate the extreme, alienating and devisive nature of the current labour party but loathe what the Tory party has done for the country. We need some grown ups back who can bring people together again.

Its time to stop the divisive lies and racism in both the main political parties. We need to encourage an honest, open and tolerant society.

deborah@houseoffairytales.org 9th November 2019

We are currently facing, without a shadow of a doubt, a climate and ecological crisis throughout the planet right now and therefore this should be the priority for every personal as well political decision. This is clearly not the case in our parliament right now. In this turbulent moment in history we are individually powerless to influence so I support any initiative or organisation that uses intelligent crowd thinking and aims to promote honest, thoughtful, nuanced, decent, honourable debate in an increasingly hostile and untruthful political landscape.
