The Isle of Wight has ambitions as an eco island: with tourism, businesses and communities who are green focused. When it comes to politics, the IW Greens have made real inroads with Green town and parish councillors working hard in their communities across the island. Significantly, in the 2015 and 2017 General Elections the Green vote rose from 900 to almost 13,000 votes - putting us 2nd in the country for Green votes, only behind Caroline Lucas in Brighton. We must continue to build on this fantastic result and have already selected the brilliant Vix Lowthion as our candidate, who has lead our parliamentary campaigns since 2015. We are looking to fund leaflets, billboards and a high street shop to base our campaign. The Isle of Wight is the largest constituency in the UK and we really need your support! If you share our Green values, believe we are making a difference and feel we need another brave Green voice to work with Caroline Lucas at Westminster, please stand with us and make a donation - however large or small. Thank you!
