Fife Academy Performing Arts (FAPA) is a not for profit Musical Theatre & Dance School.  As of May 2018, the Board made up of parents of current and former students took the responsibility of the running of FAPA.  The Board members know from their own children’s experience that participating in performing arts has given their children confidence, increased self-esteem, positive mental and physical health, responsibility and the opportunity to develop their own style and creativity.  The Board feel passionate that performing arts should be accessible to children and work to achieve this by giving their own personal skills and talents to provide quality affordable tuition.

Currently the studio provides classes 5 days per week for students ranging between the age of 3 to 18. FAPA is the only performing arts provider in Fife that is SQA accredited and allows the opportunity for our students and young people from the community to achieve SQA National 4, National 5 and Higher qualifications in Dance.  Our qualified team welcome the opportunity to work with members and groups within the community with additional physical and mental health support needs.

The achievement of our students is showcased and celebrated at our public performance of a Christmas Pantomime and Summer Show.

The aim of FAPA is to inspire our students to be the best they possibly can, nurturing an appreciation of performing arts and their fellow students and a respect for their physical achievement.

We have ambitions to make the studio the best experience possible for our current and future students. To help us achieve this we would be delighted to raise funds to allow us to replace the worn-out studio floor with sprung flooring.  In addition to enhancing the students experience and help them reach their full potential, sprung floors absorb shocks and provide protection from ankle, foot & back injury and future health issues associated with dancers’ joints.

All at FAPA are grateful that you have taken the time to visit our page and appreciate any financial support that you are able to give. Alternatively you could offer support by giving us votes in Aviva Community Fund, Floors for Futures  Thank you
