Festival Too was born in 1985 when a group of people got together to put on a free music event for the community in King's Lynn and West Norfolk. The event was, and continues to be organised and run entirely by volunteers from the community.
Over 30 years later, Festival Too has grown to one of the largest free outdoor festivals in Europe, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people. The festival is funded entirely on donations and these donations are used to pay for equipment, staging, logistics and of course the bands.
With uncertain times ahead and with the growth of the festival over time comes increased costs, for the festival to continue it needs your support more than ever.
The Festival is totally non-profit making. Every single penny raised is put directly back into the festival itself to provide top quality FREE entertainment for the community. The festival also features a fireworks display on the opening night and a full programme of street entertainment on the three Saturdays of the festival for families visiting the town to enjoy.
During its 35 years, Festival Too has bought acts including The Vamps, Scouting For Girls, The Hoosiers, Blue, Gabrielle,The Buzzcocks, The Fratellis, Atomic Kitten, The Pigeon Detectives, Edwin Starr, Hayseed dixie, The Beat, Toyah Willcox, Deacon Blue, Stooshe, The Drifters, The Troggs, The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwall, Bad Manners, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lemar, The Human League, Heather Small, The Wanted and so many more to West Norfolk.
Please support Festival Too.
