More than half-way to the stretch target!

It's been a hectic couple of days consolidating our new supply chains and delivery protocols, as well as managing a whole raft of in-kind donations. We'll be explaining more about these, and some donations from organisations in the next day or so.

The crowdfunder is now well past the 50% mark towards our £6,000 stretch target. The media are also still following our progress avidly. Keith was on Wave 105 this morning. Many of you will have heard him. My sister in Ringwood texted me to say she had, so the word is spreading far and wide!

On Thursday we are working with the Alabaré charity to provide hot meals for veterans as part of the Tea with Tom initiative to mark the captain's 100th birthday.

You can read more about former player Dave Taviner and his involvement in the project here and the kind donation of a van by Fareham Car Hire here.

Give at least £1 and get a digital certificate!

Every pound counts! If 2500 people give us just a quid, it's job done, but feel free to give whatever you can spare. Your reward is the grateful thanks of Keith and his team and the families in need you've helped. And we'll send you a digital certificate by e-mail to print out and put up proudly on your wall/fridge/sideboard/mantelpiece!
