Farmfest 10-for-10 Film Project
We did it
On 17th August 2015 we successfully raised £2,235 with 19 supporters in 28 days

Raising funds for budding film makers to create their own independent films telling the story of their experience of Farmfest 2015.

New stretch target

The extra £2000 would be split between Send a Cow (£1000) and extra budget for our film makers mean they would recieve £250 each expenses + £500 for the winner.

About Farmfest2015 sees Farmfest celebrating its 10th birthday and a lot has happened in that time. From humble beginnings to West Country staple, Farmfest has always stayed true to itself, focusing on good music, good times and most importantly, good people. It’s the people that make Farmfest, the great vibes, the great times and the stories in-between. These are the reasons we are proud to present our new film competition, 10-for-10.What is 10-for-10? 10-for-10 is the chance for emerging and local filmmakers to showcase their skills as videographers. Our 10 selected finalists will receive £150 (minimum) to cover expenses and full access to the site to realise their proposed film. The 10 final films will then be showcased in a premiere screening event held in Bruton, just down the road from the Farmfest site, in November. After voting has finished, the lucky winner will receive £500 along with publicity through Farmfest and potential help with further film festival entries. The aim is to create 10 films, capturing 10 unique viewpoints, from 10 different creative perspecives. 10 different narratives on what the convergence of 5000 people creates or means to different individuals. Be it short and sweet, abstract, atmospheric or full blown Louis Theroux investigation. 1 minute to 100 minutes, the choice was theirs. The simpler and more focused the idea, the better.

Why crowdfunding?Farmfest is dedicated to helping provide a platform for emerging talent to showcase their work, whilst keeping our ticket price affordable to most. This is where crowd funding comes in from our loyal followers. With your help, we're looking to raise our £2000 target for the project. 90% will go to the 10 finalists. The final 10% will go to our charity Send a Cow. Any stretch goals will be split 50 / 50 between Send a Cow and extra budget for each finalist.Rewards! We're offering some great rewards and as Farmfest has now sold out, we're offering up our last 10 pairs of tickets to help fund this project. We have limited edition t-shirts, DVD's of all 10 films, and guestlist tickets to the film premiere of all the complete 2015 films. As well as these, you'll also be donating to Send a Cow each time you pledge! Our 10 finalists:Annie HopkinsCharlie Baigent (Horizon51)Charlie (CYNO productions)Coralie De WinneGiulia SavorelliGwilym EvansJosh LuntSophie WebsterThea DumitrescuWilliam Bloomfield (Partedminds)Good luck!
