Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others. Autistic people see, hear and feel the world differently to other people. If you are autistic, you are autistic for life; autism is not an illness or disease and cannot be 'cured'.
Marc and Angela are the parents of Steven, Connor and Declan Casey, 3 young men living with Autism. Everyday they are faced with mental limitations and obstacles to overcome. Through this documentary I will share the families story of dangerous births being weeks early, fighting for diagnosing, and hopes and plans for the future.
We are very passionate about creating this film in order to inform people about what Autism really is and what it is like to have to live with it day in and day out. I also want to explore the effects that it can have on the people around them and how they deal with it.
100% of the money donated will go towards the making of this project with any money that is not used being donated to the National Autistic Society.
